
November 3rd and my last one was to be April 14th. In May I learned that Ovarian Cancer returns in 70% of the cases, so I am doing additional chemotherapy to lengthen my cancer-free time. Now for the GOOD NEWS, I am doing great! I am still doing the Pilates exercise, gardening and walking that I have been doing for the last thirteen years.

Knowing the grim prognosis and how horrific this disease can be, my husband John and I were talking about life and death. with my ob-gyn and had another ultrasound. This time my left ovary showed a 3.5 cm dense mass with blood supply that was not there in December. At this point, nothing appeared cancerous. I had no family history of cancer.
